Not officially. Well, maybe for the most clickbait title on a blog award. Sorry about that but I’m a sucker when it comes to a good troll.
I’ve been shortlisted for New Designer of the Year at the PPA New Talent Awards 2016. I wonder if my boss will think I’m doing a decent job, in which case I should ask for a pay rise—or better still—a virtual gift bag of web font licenses to be sent to my inbox every morning? Well I guess not even Mark Zuckerberg has the budget for that.
Yes, I’m just getting ahead of myself, but a designer can dream. Until then I’ll keep holding onto this bad jokes prize, which I awarded to myself because it’s a thing and I’m totally proud of it.
